Yard Deck needed a logo that captured its name and represented a range of sports competitions hosted in the yard, including pickleball, tennis, table tennis and kho-kho. The direction was to combine a retro-modern aesthetic with a bold, distinctive wordmark that would work across the brand's digital touchpoints.
The logo uses Jersey 10, a pixel-inspired typeface that gives the identity its retro sporting character. A rectangular frame with thick outer borders and a thin dividing line creates the visual impression of a court viewed from above. The line separates “Yard” and “Deck,” reinforcing the court-like structure while keeping the wordmark compact and recognizable.

The design system extends the logo's bold, pixel-inspired aesthetic into the tournament website. Jersey 10 gives the brand its distinctive sporting character, while Nata Sans keeps interface text readable and modern. A monochrome black-and-white palette creates strong contrast, with #FF7375 adding a recognizable accent for important brand elements.

Tournament cards highlight essential details such as dates, entry fees, prizes, location, and registration status, helping players quickly decide which events to join.
