What I Learned
This project taught me that sports platforms need to balance clarity, speed, and excitement at the same time. I learned how strong information hierarchy and state-based UX can significantly improve tournament experiences, especially on mobile devices. Designing Yard Deck as a reusable platform instead of a single-event solution also showed me the long-term value of scalable systems and community-focused branding.
